Convergence Conference

Wednesday April 30th – Friday May 2nd
Where to Stay: Hampton Inn Shrewsbury, Penn.

Starts Wednesday night and ends Friday late morning: Redefining vision and mission out of God’s call

Convergence Worship empowers the church to experience the fullness of God: We worship God to honor Him and encounter His glory -unity, obedience, and discipleship lead to convergence worship

FOCUS: Unity, Clarity, Application
Three streams (evangelical, charismatic, sacramental) bring unity Word, Spirit, Sacrament.

Are we more in love with the method than the messiah?

Year 2 Northeast diocese: unleash potential, empower leaders, and adapt methods
Are we willing to adapt our methods so that we can love and worship Christ fully in word, spirit, and sacrament?
Why does convergence exist — to bring unity in worship, to bring glory to God, to worship Jesus?
Obedience came before convergence. Obedience comes from love.
Unity requires clarity. Clarity of the three streams — what is the 3-stream movement in how we worship? How does it bend and flow at all times?
Convergence COMMUNITY — outward
